Terms of Service
Welcome to QuantumAstra. These Terms govern your access to and use of the QuantumAstra research collaboration network, interactive features, profiles, and media storage.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or registering an account on QuantumAstra (“Platform”), you enter into a legally binding agreement with QuantumAstra. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the platform services.
These terms apply equally to individual researchers, academic faculty, students, laboratory fellows, and institutional representatives utilizing the QuantumAstra network.
02Authentication & Identity Integrity
QuantumAstra employs Google Single Sign-On (OAuth 2.0) to ensure authentic researcher identities and prevent duplicate fraudulent nodes across the network. You agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, and current professional information during profile onboarding.
- Claim a unique handle (
@username) that does not infringe upon any registered trademark, intellectual property, or impersonate another researcher. - Notify our team immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or compromised Google credentials.
03Academic Ownership & Intellectual Property
You retain 100% ownership of your research: Any algorithms, code repositories, preprint papers, laboratory observations, or post content that you publish on QuantumAstra remain your sole intellectual property.
By publishing, you grant QuantumAstra only a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content across our community feed and network search purely for platform operation. You may withdraw or remove your content at any time.
04Code of Conduct & Prohibited Uses
Users agree to conduct themselves in a professional, ethical, and collaborative manner. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Disseminating malicious code, automated scrapers, or unauthorized harvesting spiders.
- Publishing plagiarized academic papers, fabricated quantum simulation results, or confidential laboratory trade secrets.
- Harassing, threatening, or defaming any researcher or academic institution.
- Attempting unauthorized penetration testing, reverse engineering, or path traversal attacks against platform storage endpoints.
05Account Termination & Statutory Erasure
You may request immediate and irreversible account termination and personal data erasure at any time via the Account Deletion Request Portal under Section 12 of the DPDP Act 2023.
QuantumAstra reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our Code of Conduct or engage in fraudulent activities.
